• Email (optional): Collected if you choose to create an account or subscribe to premium features.
• IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers): Collected only if personalized ads are enabled through Apple.

1.2 Non-Personal Information

• Analytics Data: Information about how you use the App (e.g., actions taken on notes, video interactions, session duration), collected for product improvement.
• Device & Network Information: Includes your device model, operating system version, IP address, and general performance data.

1.3 Uploaded Content

• Screenshots & Thumbnails: Images captured from YouTube videos inside the App for personal use and note-taking. These are stored to enable your notes and exports.
• Video Links: YouTube URLs and metadata used to display and interact with videos.
• Notes Content: Timestamped notes and associated screenshots you create are stored securely under your account.

Important: Pinotes does not download or store videos. Only metadata, screenshots, and timestamps are saved.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide App functionality including saving notes, timestamps, and screenshots.
• Export notes to PDF and sharing links when you choose to do so.
• Improve the App's reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Communicate with you regarding account status, feature updates, or support.
• Process subscription payments and verify entitlement.

3. Third-Party Services

Pinotes relies on the following third-party services:

• Firebase: Authentication, usage analytics, crash reports, and basic cloud storage.
• RevenueCat / App Store: Subscription and entitlement management.
• YouTube (external source): Video playback and metadata.

These third-party services may collect and process your information according to their respective privacy policies.

4. Data Retention

• Notes & Screenshots: Stored as long as your account remains active unless you delete them.
• Exported PDFs: Generated on demand and not kept permanently by Pinotes.
• Analytics Data: Retained only as long as necessary to operate and improve the App.

5. Your Privacy Choices

• Delete Notes: You may delete your notes and screenshots at any time within the App.
• Delete Account & Data: You may request full deletion of your stored data by contacting us at support@pinotes.co.
• Export Your Notes: You may export notes as PDF or shareable link.
• Limit Ad Tracking: Control IDFA permissions in your device settings.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to safeguard your personal information, including encrypted data transfer and restricted access. However, no method of digital storage or transmission can be guaranteed fully secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

Pinotes is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover such data, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in features or regulations. We will notify users through the App or website when significant changes occur.

Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
