Billing and Subscription Terms

These Billing & Subscription Terms ("Billing Terms") apply to all users who access paid features or subscription plans within Pinotes ("App"). By purchasing, activating, or using any paid access, you agree to these Billing Terms in addition to the Terms of Service.

Paid access in Pinotes may include subscriptions, one-time purchases, usage-based purchases, feature unlocks, or other payment models introduced over time.

1. Subscription Plans & Paid Access

Pinotes may offer different paid access options, including subscriptions and one-time payments. Details such as pricing, duration, trial eligibility, and included features are displayed within the App at the time of purchase.

Paid offerings may change over time to reflect product development or availability.

2. Payment Processing

2.1 App Store Billing — Payments are processed through your Apple App Store account. Apple manages billing, renewal, and payment methods.

2.2 Charges — Charges are applied upon confirmation of purchase. Taxes or currency adjustments may apply depending on your region.

2.3 Authorization — By initiating a purchase, you authorize Apple to charge your selected payment method for the associated amount.

3. Renewal, Cancellation & Changes

3.1 Auto-Renewal — Subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends.

3.2 Access After Cancellation — If you cancel, your paid access remains active until the end of the current billing period.

3.3 Managing Subscriptions — You can manage, modify, or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

3.4 Price or Plan Adjustments — Plan pricing, structure, or benefits may change in the future. Continued use of paid access after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of updated Billing Terms.

4. Refunds

4.1 Refund Responsibility — Refunds are handled solely by Apple. Pinotes cannot process refunds directly.

4.2 Eligibility — Refund eligibility is determined by Apple based on their policies.

5. Trials & Promotions

5.1 Free Trials — Free trials may be provided at Pinotes' discretion and may vary by region, plan, or time.

5.2 Trial Conversion — When a trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan unless canceled in advance.

5.3 Promotions — Promotional pricing or limited-time access may be offered and is subject to change.

6. Feature Availability

Paid features may change over time. Certain capabilities, exports, collaboration tools, storage quantities, or integrations may require paid access or may be moved behind paid access in the future.

The availability of specific features within a plan is not guaranteed indefinitely.

7. Account Requirements

Paid access requires the use of an Apple ID and may require account sign-in within the App to enable syncing, unlock access, or restore purchases.

8. Data Retention After Expiry

Your notes and content remain stored unless you delete them or request account deletion. Certain premium-only storage, syncing, or export capabilities may become unavailable after your paid access ends.
